 Eligibility Criteria


Educational Qualification: 


1. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and GD in CAPFs:

 

i) The applicants should possess a Graduation from any recognized University/Institution.


ii) The applicants appearing for the Bachelor's degree examination can also apply.


iii) The applicants must possess all the essential qualification details before the closing date of applications.


2. For the post of Sub Inspector (Fire) in CISF: 


i) The applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized University/Institution.


OR


ii) The applicants must possess a Matriculation or equivalent and 3 years Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobiles, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical, Telecommunication Engineering from any recognized University/Institution.


OR 


iii) The applicants must possess an equivalent examination passed from any recognized Board/University/Institution.


iv) The applicants' higher qualification i.e. B.Tech/M.Tech in relevant fields can be allowed as the same will be value addition for the post subject to basic qualification (Diploma) being there.


Age Limit (as of 1st August, 2026):


1. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and Sub Inspector (GD) in CAPFs:

 

i) The candidate's age must be between 20 to 25 years.


ii) Applicants must not be born earlier than 02-08-2001 and not later than 01-08-2026.


2. For the post of Sub Inspector (Fire) in CISF:

 

i) The candidate's age must be between 18 to 30 years.


ii) Applicants must not be born earlier than 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2008Age .


3. Age Relaxation: The applicants age relaxation is applicable as per the rules mentioned in the advertisement (Page 4 to 5).


Salary


1. Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (Male and Female): 


i) Pay scale of Level 6 - Rs 35,400/- to Rs. 1,12,400/-  


ii) Classified as Group C.


2. Sub Inspector (GD) in CAPFs:


i) Pay scale of Level 6 - Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 1,12,400/-


ii) Classified as Group B (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.


2. Sub Inspector (Fire) in CISF (Male):


i) Pay scale of Level 6 - Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 1,12,400/-


ii) Classified as Group B (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.


Exam Pattern  


1. Exam mode: Online

3. Stages of Examination 


The examination will consist of:


i) Paper-I.


ii) Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET).


iii) Paper-II.


iv) Detailed Medical Examination (DME).


4. There will be a penalty for each wrong answer-


i) For Paper-I: 0.25 marks.


ii) For Paper-II: 0.50 marks.
