Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
i) The applicants must possess for GDS is Secondary School Examination (SSE) pass certificate of 10th Standard with passsing marks in Mathematics and English conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India.
ii) The applicants having equivalent qualification from any other board are not eligible to apply for engagement as GDS.
iii) The candidates should have studied the Local Language at least up to 10th Standard from any recognized board.
Note: The details of post-wise local language prescribed by the Department is given in Annexure-III.
Other Qualifications required:
1. The applicants must have Knowledge of Computers.
2. The applicants must know cycling.
3. Adequate means of livelihood.
Age Limit:
1. The applicant's minimum age must be 18 years, and the maximum age must be 40 years.
2. The age relaxation is applicable as mentioned in the advertisement. (Pages 4 and 5).
Salary
1. For the post of BPM: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 29,380/-.
2. For the post of ABPM/Dak Sevak: Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 24,470/-.

2. For UR/OBC candidates: Rs. 100/-
Important Dates
1. Online One-Time registration: 31st August to 19th September, 2026.
2. Online application submission and fee payment: 2nd September to 21st September, 2026.
3. Correction in Registration/Application Forms, including payment of the online fee, if applicable: 23rd September to 24th September, 2026.
4. The Selection Process will be on a Merit basis based on the Class 10th percentage.
