Educational Qualification:

1. For Sub Inspector AB, UB and Assistant Jailor: The applicants must be a Graduate in any stream (Arts/Science/Commerce) from any recognized University/Institutions/College.

2. For Constable (AB): The applicants must have passed HSLC or Class X from any recognized Board of Council.

3.For Constable (UB): The applicants must have passed HS or Class XII from any recognized Board of Council.

4. For Sub Inspector of Police Communication (APRO)

i) The applicants must possess a B.Sc in Electronics Science/IT/Computer Science (10+2+3 duration)

OR

ii) Applicants must posses a 3 year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele-communication, or electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer engineering or Computer Sceince or equivalent and 2 years work experience in the field of Electronics, Telecom, IT or allied environment. 

OR

iii) Applicants must posses a 3 year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele-communication, or electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer engineering or Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years additional course/courses in Tele-communication/IT/CS /CEor equivalent.

OR

iv) Applicants must possess a Master of Computer Application (MCA)

OR

v) Applicants must possess a B.E./B.Tech in E & TC or Computer or Instrumentation or IT or equivalent qualification in the same discipline.

5. For Station Officer and Squad Commander: Applicants must possess a B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized University/Institution/College.

6. For Driver Constable, Constable (Dispatch Rider/Messenger/Handymen), Driver and Driver Operator:

i) The applicants must have passed HSLC examination from any recognized Board of Council.

ii) The applicants must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.

7. Safai Karmachari: 

i) The candidates must possess minimum Class VI passed from a recognized School or Institution.

ii) The applicants maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.
