The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), is India's largest energy company. ONGC mainly focused on the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas. ONGC is government-owned company, specifically a Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. ONGC invites new online application for apprenticeship. The qualified candidates can apply for the apprenticeship and can advance their careers in the Oil Companies. Eligibility Criteria


Educational Qualification: [Trade/Discipline - Qualification ]


1. Library Assistant - Applicants should possess a Passed 10th Class Examination from a recognized board.


2. Mechanic Auto Electronics - Applicants should possess an ITI in the trade of Mechanic Auto Electronics.


3. Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) - Applicants should possess an ITI in the COPA Trade.


4. Draughtsman (Civil) - The candidates must have an ITI in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade.


5. Electrician - The candidates must have an ITI in the Electrician Trade.


6. Electronics Mechanic - The candidates must have an ITI in Electronics.


7. Fitter - The candidates must have an ITI in Fitter.


8. Instrument Mechanic - Applicants should possess an ITI in Instrument Mechanic.


9. Fire Safety Technician (Oil & Gas) - The applicants must have an  ITI in the relevant Trade.


10. Machinist - The applicants must have an ITI in the Machinist Trade. 


11. Mechanic Repair & Maintenance of Vehicles - Must have an ITI in the Machinist Trade, Motor Vehicle.


12. Mechanic Diesel - Must have an ITI in Diesel Mechanic Trade.


13. Medical laboratory Technician (Cardiology) - Must have an ITI in Medical laboratory Technician (Cardiology).


14. Medical laboratory (Pathology) - Applicants must have an ITI in  Medical laboratory (Pathology).


15. Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology) - Applicants must have an ITI in Medical.


16. Mechanic  Refrigeration and Air Conditioning - Applicants should possess a Trade Certificate in Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. 


17. Stenographer (English) - Applicants must have an ITI Stenographer (English) Trade.


18. Surveyor - The Applicants must have an ITI in the Surveyor Trade


19. Welder (Gas & Electric) - Must have an ITI in the relevant field.


20. Executive Finance (Oil & Gas) - Candidates should possess a B.Com from any recognized University/Institution.


21. Lab Chemist /Analyst-  Petroleum Products - Candidates should possess a B.Sc (Chemistry) from any recognized University/Institution.


22. Executive HR (Oil & Gas) - Candidates should possess a B.B. A degree from any recognized University/Institution.


23. Secretarial Office Assistant (Oil & Gas) - Applicants must hold a Graduate degree from any recognized University/Institution.


24. Fire Safety Supervisor (Oil & Gas) - Applicants must possess a Diploma in the relevant field.


25. Computer Science  Executive (Diploma) - Applicants must have a 3 year Diploma in the respective disciplines. 


26. Electronics & Telecommunication Executive (Diploma) - Applicants must have a 3 year Diploma degree in the relevant disciplines. 


27. Electrical Executive (Diploma) - Applicants must have a 3 year Diploma degree in the relevant disciplines.


28. Civil Executive (Diploma) - Applicants must have a 3 year Diploma degree in the relevant disciplines.


29. Electronics Executive (Diploma) - Applicants must have a 3 year Diploma degree in the relevant disciplines.

38. Mechanical Executive  - Candidates must have a B.Tech in the respective discipline of Engineering.


39. Petroleum Executive - Candidates must hold a Graduate degree with Geology as one of the subjects.


40. Civil Executive (Diploma)  - Candidates must have a 3 year Diploma in the respective disciplines of Engineering. 


Age Limit:  


i) The applicants' age must be between 18 to 24 years as of 06/11/2025.  


ii) The candidate's Date of Birth certificate must be between 06/11/2001 to 06/11/2007). 


Age Relaxation: 


1. SC/ST: 5 years


2. OBC- NCL : 3 years


3. PwBD: 10 years


4. PwBD (OBC/NCL): 13 years


5. PwBD (SC/ST):15 years


Stipend


1. Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,300/- (based on the discipline in the relevant fields ).


2. Trade Apprentices: Rs. 8,200/- to Rs . 10,560/- (based on the discipline in the relevant fields).


3. Three years Diploma: Rs. 10,900/- (based on the discipline in the relevant fields).
