A candidate must be 21 years of age and must not be more than 32 years of age as of July 01, 01,2025.Relaxation by 3 years in the case of candidates possessing an LLM degree and 5 years if candidates have a Ph.D. in law.

Educational Qualification - 

i) A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any university/college/institution recognized by UGC with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years.

ii) For SC/ST and PwBD candidates, the minimum required marks must be 45% in a bachelor’s degree in law in the aggregate of all semesters/years against vacancies reserved for such candidates.

iii) Second Class Master's Degree in Sanskrit/Economics/Commerce with English and Hindi as subjects at the bachelor’s degree level along with a postgraduate diploma in translation. (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at bachelor’s degree level, one may have recognized Hindi qualification equivalent to a bachelor’s degree).
