Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification - The candidates should possess a Graduation in any stream from a recognized University.

2. The applicants should possess a certificate in Computer knowledge of a minimum 3 months duration.

3. The applicants should have knowledge of the Official Language of the state of Assam (Assamese).

4. The applicants should possess a valid Employment Exchange registration number for the state of Assam.   

Age Limit

1. For Unreserved category candidates:

i) Minimum - 18 years

ii) Maximum - 40 years

2. For OBC/MOBC category candidates:

i) Minimum - 18 years

ii) Maximum - 43 years

3. For SC/ST(P)/ST(H) category candidates:

i) Minimum - 18 years

ii) Maximum - 45 years

4. For PwBD category candidates:

i) Minimum - 18 years

ii) Maximum - 50 years

Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- with Grade pay of Rs. 6200/- and other allowances admissible as per rules.

Application Fee:

i) For SC/ST candidates - Rs. 250/-

ii) For all others candidates - Rs. 500/-

Selection Process:

A. Stage 1:

1. Common Witten Test (OMR based)

2. Duration - 2 hours

3. Total Marks - 120

4. There will be penalty of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

5. Syllabus of Stage 1 exam 

i) General English - 50 marks

ii) General Knowledge including Computer Knowledge - 30 marks

iii) General Aptitude - 20 marks

iv) Official Language of the state of Assam (Assamese) - 20 marks

B. Stage 2:

Computer Skill test of 35 marks - 

i) Computer Typing Test in a Typing Application software - 20 marks

ii) Proficiency in word processor and spreadsheet - 15 marks

C. Stage 3: Viva-voce of 15 marks

i) On the basis of the grand total marks (out of 150) obtained by the candidates in the Written test (out of 100), Computer Skill Test (out of 35) and Viva-voce (15 marks).  

ii) The final selection will be made District-wise.
