The State Bank of India (SBI) released a recruitment notification for 6589 Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) posts in the clerical cadre. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website given below. The candidates are advised to review the advertisement carefully before applying online.
The candidates can apply for vacancies in only one State/UT. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/UT should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language. A test for knowledge of the specified language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online Main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be offered appointment. However, candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

Pay Scale
1. The starting Basic Pay is: Rs. 26730/- (Rs. 24050/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The candidates should possess a Graduate Degree.
Age Limit (as of 01 - 04 - 2025):
1. Minimum Age Limit - 20 years
2. Maximum Age Limit - 28 years
3. The candidates must have been born not earlier than 02 - 04 - 1997 and not later than 01 - 04 - 2025 (both days exclusive).
Age Relaxation of Upper age limit
1. For OBC candidates: 3 years
2. For SC/ST candidates: 5 years
3. For PwBD (Gen/EWS) candidates: 10 years
4. For PwBD (OBC) candidates: 13 years
5. For PwBD (SC/ST) candidates: 15 years
6. For Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen candidates: Actual period of service rendered in defence services + 3 years (8 years for Disabled SC/ST), subject to maximum age of 50 years.
Application Fee and Intimation Charge (Non-Refundable):
1. For SC/ST/PwBD/XS/DXS candidates - Nil
2. For General/OBC/EWS candidates - Rs. 750
3. Fee/Intimation charges once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reverse for any other exam or selection.
Selection Procedure: The selection process will consist of online test (Preliminary & Main exam) and a test of the specified opted local language.
Exam Pattern:
1. Exam mode: Online (CBT)
2. Duration of Exam
i) For Preliminary exam - 1 hour
ii) For Main Exam - 2 hours 40 minutes
3. There will be a penalty of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer.

1. For Preliminary Examination:
i) English Language - 30 questions
ii) Numerical Ability - 35 questions
iii) Reasoning Ability - 35 questions

2. For Main Examination:
i) General/Financial Awareness - 50 questions
ii) General English - 40 questions
iii) Quantitative Aptitude - 50 questions
iv) Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude - 50 questions
Total number of questions - 190
Maximum marks - 200
3. Local Language Proficiency Test:
i) Non-Verbal Test - 30 questions (objective + subjective)
Maximum marks - 30
ii) Verbal Test - 20 marks
Total Marks - 50
How to Apply:
1. The candidates will have to register themselves through the official website given below.
2. After completion of registration, candidates have to select the Post.
3. The candidates have to fulfil all the required details and upload the required documents mentioned in the guidelines.
4. After completing all the process, the candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using a Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking.
