The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has released a recruitment notification for 3 District Consultant Recruitment posts. Interested and eligible candidates may appear for a walk-in interview scheduled to be held on 11 - 06 - 2025 (Wednesday) at 9:45 am at the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), Ancillary Block-I (Opposite SBI Secretariat Branch), Janata Bhawan, Dispur, Guwahati - 781006, Assam. 

The candidates should carry and submit the prescribed application form along with copies of all certificates, mark sheets, recent passport-size photos, experience certificates, salary slips etc. The candidates are advised to review the advertisement before applying offline.

Educational Qualification:

1. The candidates should possess Master's Degree in any discipline (preferably in Disaster  Management, Social Work, Sociology, Geography, Agriculture, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning).

2. The candidates should have minimum post qualification experience of 5 years in the fields related to Disaster Management.

3. The candidates having Ph.D Degree in the relevant field are required to have minimum post qualification experience of 3 years.

4. The candidates must also have reasonable experience in the field of preparation of Disaster Management Plans, Guidelines and SOPs related to Disaster Management.

5. The preference will be given to candidates with higher experience or candidates who have experience of working with Central/State Government Departments.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 65 years.

Duration:

1. For a period of 12 months. Extension can be granted till the completion of the project on the basis of satisfactory performance.

2. The consultant can be removed at any time by giving one month's notice or the Consultant can also resign from the assignment by giving one month's notice to the appointing authority. If the performance of the Consultant is not satisfactory, NDMA may recommend ASDMA for termination of the contract. 

Duty Station: Office of the District Commissioner-cum-Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Goalpara/Darrang/Barpeta/Baksa/Udalguri/Hailakandi/Dhubri Districts.

Remuneration: Rs. 70,000/- per month.
