DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2025 : Apply Online for 4500 Posts

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam has published  an job notification for various teacher positions of 4500 posts of Assistant Teacher in Lower and Upper Primary Schools. Those candidates who are permanent residents of Assam and has passed  for the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) can apply online.

1) Lower Primary: 2900

2) Upper Primary: 1600

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Permanent Resident of Assam

Age Limit:  Must not below 18 years of age and not beyond 40 years of age. 

Age relaxation:

1) Ex-Servicemen: 2 years

2) OBC/MOBC: 3 years

3) SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/: 5 years

4) Person with Disability (PWD): 10 Years

Qualification:

Assistant Teacher (LP)

1) Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)

2) 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education

3) Passed  Assam TET  or Central TET  for LP School

Assistant Teacher (UP)

1) Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary(or its equivalent)

2) Graduate from the UGC-recognized university

3) 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education /Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Elementary Education.

4) Must  have passed  Assam Teacher Eligibility Test or Central Teacher Eligibility Test  for LP School. 

Documents to be upload 

1) Passport Size Photograph

2) HSLC Admit Card

3) HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate

4) Graduation Mark-sheet and Certificate

5)  Mark-sheet and Higher Education Certificate.  

6) DELED/BED Mark-sheet (1^st  year and 2^nd year) and certificate

7) Caste Certificate

8) Document in Support Permanent Resident of Assam

9) Certificate and Mark-sheet of ATET/ CTET

10) Disabilities candidates  will have to add a certificate of disabilities issued by Govt. concerned  Authority

11)  Ex-servicemen  certificate has to be issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board
