Assam DEE Special Educator for LP and UP School Jobs Overview


The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam, focuses on building the quality and standards of School education and literacy, aiming to make a committed society to constitutional values. DEE, Assam, promotes the all-round development of children aged 6 to 14 by imparting quality education. It promotes free and compulsory quality education to all children at the elementary level, as envisaged under the RTE Act, 2009.

Vacancy details


1. Lower Primary (LP) schools: 120 


2. Upper Primary (UP) schools: 108 


Eligibility Criteria


Educational Qualification: 


1. Lower Primary


i) Applicants must possess Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)  with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)


ii)  The applicants must have passed the  ATET/CTET.


2. Upper Primary


i)  The applicants should have a Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

ii) The applicants must have passed the ATET/CTET.


Age Limit: The candidate's minimum age must be 18 years of age and not more than 40 years.


Age Relaxation  (as of 1st August, 2025)


i) For Ex-servicemen - 42 years.


iii) For OBC/MOBC - 43 years.


iv) For SC/ST(P)/ST(H) - 45 years.


v) For (PwD) - 50 years.


Small Family Norm: The applicants should upload family norms certificates as mentioned in the advertisement.


Citizenship: Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.


Salary


1. Lower Primary: 


i) Pay scale - Rs.14,000/-  to Rs 70,000/-


ii) Grade Pay - Rs.7400/- 


iii) Pay Band - 2


2. Upper Primary:


i) Pay Scale - Rs.14,00/- to Rs.70,000/- 


ii) Grade Pay - Rs.8700/- 


iii)  Pay Band - 2


Documents need to be uploaded:

i) Passport Size Photograph. 


iii) HSSLC Mark Sheet and Certificate.

iv) Mark sheet and Certificate of Higher Education.


v)  B.Ed in Special Education Mark Sheet and Certificate (Recognized by RCI).


vi) Document in support of a Permanent Resident of Assam.


vii) Certificate and Mark Sheet of ATET/CTET.


viii) Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Government authority.


ix) Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.


x)  Working experience certificate (if any).  


xi) HSLC Admit Card.
