Salary:


1. Basic Pay - Rs. 88,635/- per month


2. Pay Scale - Rs. 88635-4385 (14)-150025-4750(4)-169025 and other admissible allowances as per rules.


3. Total Emoluments - Approximately Rs. 1,26,000/- per month in A-class cities.


Eligibility Criteria


Educational Qualifications


I. Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Engineer (Electrical):


i) The candidates should possess a B.Tech/B.E. (Civil)/B.E. (Electrical) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution.


ii) The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification working experience in planning and execution of multi-storied building projects with all required infrastructure.


II. Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO):


1. For AAO Chartered Accountant (CA)


i) The candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution, and Candidates should have passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.


ii) The candidates should be an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.


iii) The candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.


2. For AAO Company Secretary (CS) - The candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and be a Qualified Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).


3. AAO (Actuarial):


i) The candidates should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution.


ii) The candidates should have passed at least 6 papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India/Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK., as on the date of eligibility i.e. 1st August 2025.


iii) The candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Actuaries of India/Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. 


4. AAO (Insurance Specialist): The candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution, and possessing a professional qualification in Life Insurance, having a minimum of 5 years and above of experience working in Life Insurance Companies (regulated by IRDAI).


5. AAO (Legal):


i) The candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law from any University/College recognized by UGC with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years.


ii) For SC/ST and PwBD candidates minimum required marks shall be 45% in Graduation in Law in the aggregate of all semesters/years.


iii The candidates must be enrolled with the Bar Council as an Advocate.


iv) The candidates must have at least 2 years of experience after being enrolled as an Advocate or as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a Bank/Financial Institution/Statutory Corporation/Company/State/Central Government post enrolment with the Bar Council.


Age limit (as of 01-08-2025):


1. Minimum - 21 years.


2. Maximum - 30 years.


3. The candidates born not earlier than 02-08-1995 and not later than 01-08-2004,  both days inclusive only, are eligible.


Age Relaxation:


1. For SC/ST candidates - 5 years.


2. For OBC candidates - 3 years.


3. For PwBD (General) candidates - 10 years.


4. For PwBD (SC/ST) candidates - 15 years.


5. For PwBD (OBC) candidates - 13 years.


6. For Ex-Servicemen, (General) - 5 years.


7. For Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) - 10 years.


8. For Ex-Servicemen (OBC) - 8 years.


9. For LIC employees - 5 years.


Application Fee


1. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates - Rs. 85/- + Transaction Charges + GST.


2. For all other candidates - Rs. 700/- + Transaction Charges + GST.


Selection Procedure


The selection process will comprise three tiers of examination -


1. Preliminary Examination.


2. Mains Examination.


3. Personal Interview/Viva-voce.


Exam Pattern


1. Exam mode: Online (CBT).


2. Duration of Exam:


i) Preliminary Examination - 1 hour.


ii) Mains Examination - 2 hours 30 minutes.


3. There will be a penalty of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.


Syllabus


1. For Preliminary Examination:


i) Reasoning Ability - 35 questions.


ii) Quantitative Aptitude - 35 questions.


iii) English Language with emphasis on grammar, vocabulary and comprehension - 30 questions.


2. For Main Examination:


1. Reasoning Ability - 30 questions.


2. General Awareness with special reference to Insurance and Financial Market Awareness - 20 questions.


3. Professional Knowledge - 50 questions.


4. Professional Knowledge (Descriptive Paper) - 4 out of 6 questions.


5. English Language Descriptive Paper - 2 questions. (based on communication skills like: Emails, Reports, Situation Analysis & Precis Writing).
