Eligibility Criteria:


1. The candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.


2. As a domicile proof of the candidates, he/she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be treated as proof of residency.


Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the posts must have the following Bachelor's  degree in Science from any government-recognized university  as follows Physics/ Chemistry/  Botany/ Geology/ Forestry/ Environmental science or Agriculture/Agricultural Engineering/Civil Engineering. 


Age limit: Applicant age must not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01-01-2025

4. PwBD: 10 years


Pay Scale: Pay Scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month)

Physical Fitness: A candidates for direct recruitment shall be - 


1. Of sound physical and mental health and free from any infirmity which may interfere in the discharge of duties.


2. Required to undergo Medical Examination before his appointment to the service.


3. Candidate must submit a certificate of physical test issued by the Competent Authority.

5. Candidates shall qualify a physical test of:


i) 25 km walk for male in 4 hours and


ii) 16 km walk for female in 4 hours


6. A candidates for direct recruitment shall produce to the Commission, certificates of good character from the following:


i) The Principal/Academic officer of the University or the College or such Educational Institutions in which he studies last and


ii) Two respectable persons who are well acquainted with (but not related) the candidates.


Small Family Norms: As per Government notification No. ABP 69/2019/17, dated Dispur, the 6th November/2019, candidates have to submit a declaration regarding "The Small Family Norms" in Form - A at the time of applying for the post.


Exam Pattern:

3. There will be a penalty of 0.25 for each wrong answer, except for Paper II, as it consists of descriptive questions.
